Membership Fees
Companies simply pay an annual subscription of £8.00 per employee.
We currently have 6 Director Companies who form the Management Committee and a Group Training Officer, who is responsible for the day to day operation of the Group, a grant that we receive from CITB helps cover our running costs giving us the opportunity to source quality, local training for members at the best rates.
Groups have close links with their CITB Engagement Advisors who attend group meetings and provide up to date information on grants, accessing the Skills and Training Fund, apprenticeships and updates of what’s happening within the industry.
Many Groups form partnerships with construction federations, local training providers and government agencies to organise and support local initiatives that benefit their area.

Training Group Courses
Our Training Group courses are not exclusive to Members and we have many local companies who benefit by training locally at affordable prices. Members or Non Members are welcome to make use of the courses we offer, although members will pay a further discounted rate.

- Group Training Officers develop close relationships with local training providers to ensure we can offer reduced cost training, we provide high quality, cost effective training courses to meet the needs of our members at locations to suit them
- Network opportunities via a supply chain and further opportunities via Training Group meetings held quarterly at Director Members premises
- Optimisation of Course Availability, if we organise training for you at your premises and you have places available we open up the empty places to other member companies, thus reducing your overall course spend alternatively you have the opportunity to join other members courses at a reduced cost when available.
- In Scope members (Member Companies that have a CITB Levy number) may have access to an additional CITB Training Group Support grant
- You can demonstrate to prospective clients that you belong to a training group and are committed to training and staff development.
